What Storyography Is
Storyography is a narrative approach to composition, an alternative to ballroom or hip-hop routines. Your dance is built from the emotional truth of your relationship, shaped by movement that feels natural, intimate, and honest.
The dance isn’t necessarily timed to counts.
We don’t force you into poses that look uncomfortable.
We don’t learn a pre-conceived routine that could belong to anyone.
Instead, we begin with what matters: Where you’ve been, what you carry, and what you want to remember every time you hear your music.

I’m Jack, and I help people tell the truth — through movement.
With an MFA in Choreography and over 25 years of teaching experience, I guide people in expressing what words can’t: Love, connection, and shared history made visible through dance.
I created Storyography for moments that matter — weddings, anniversaries, graduations, friendships, parent-child milestones… or any time you want to honor a relationship, memory, event, or experience that shaped you.
This isn’t about performance. It’s about presence.

Every Storyography™ dance is designed from truth, not trends.
Add-Ons & Policies
- Additional rehearsals: $450 per 2 hours
- Travel: 0–10 miles included; 10–20 mi +$50/session; 20–30 mi +$100/session; beyond 30 mi = custom quote
- Music: One song or medley; final track required before choreography session; max length 7 minutes
- Groups: Duets included in all Tier options; add 1-4 people +$500; add 5-8 people +$800
- Video: Recording sessions allowed (personal use)
- Payment: Zelle, Venmo, CashApp
Because choreography is a creative service, all payments are non-refundable. However, I care deeply about your experience and will always work with you to ensure a fair and satisfying outcome.
